Lindale Police Weekly Briefing ending July 4, 2025

WELFARE CHECK-A passerby stated there appeared to be an individual lying in the driveway of the bank. Officers arrived to find the individual in the driveway “resting.” The individual advised they were fine and refused any law enforcement assistance.

ASSIST TYLER PD-An officer passing by heard an audible alarm coming from the business. Tyler PD was tied up on priority calls and asked Lindale PD to check it out. The officer reported that everything was secure with no signs of forced entry.

Inquest-Individual was found deceased due to natural causes. 

Warrant-Individual turned themself into the PD for involvement in an Agg. Robbery. 

Fraud-RP reported a fraudulent interaction with the bank. It appears a virus protection scam led to them spoofing the bank account screen. 

Assault-Dispatch was notified of an active physical disturbance. Officers arrived and could hear disturbance continuing. An individual was arrested for Assault FV.
